As a North Carolina native, my goal in creating Modern Therapeutics is to develop and expand access for safe, science-based therapeutic bodywork in the triangle and beyond. Through our work, we find focus on breath, movement, and attention to the body-mind connection are paramount in creating beneficial patterns of change. Above all, we strive to deliver an individualized session that can be modified to ensure comfort and relaxation in a positive, healing environment.
Communication is key. We need to know what you're feeling, experiencing and what you're looking to gain in order to best help you. In turn, I will explain the treatment and what you can expect to gain from it.
You will reap the benefits of massage if it becomes a regular part of your life. Our goal is for us to work together to take better care of your health, long-term.
Massage is a tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, illness or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of massage can be life changing. We would be honored to take that journey with you.

I graduated from the Body Therapy Institute in Siler City in 2016 and have over a decade of experience working in diverse healthcare environments including top teir medical fitness facilities, physical therapy and chiropractic clinics, spas and wellness centers. I most recently decided to pursue my own path in Massage Therapy opening up my very own officeslocated in Downtown Raleigh and near Southpoint in Durham. This has allowed methe time and focus to better serve my clients based on their needs. I also can be available for travel and home visits upon request. I bring a variety of skills from other fields prior to graduating from massage school within hospitality, business management and administration, education and childcare.
In my sessions, I incorporate knowledge from my entire experience including my extended time as a yoga student and active participant in exercise training to inform and instruct clients about self-care and maintenance in-between sessions. These skills give me a unique perspective on massage and allow me to provide more extensive care for my clients. Through my passion and commitment to a balanced lifestyle, I seek to help clients gain a more complete sense of self through mindful, diverse and effective bodywork
My specialties include Myofascial massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, Sports Massage, Posture assessments. Add-ons include Aromatherapy, Hot Stone Therapy, Swedish massage and Cupping.
I began exploring ways to enhance the quality of life for myself and others during a time that brought the world to a standstill. This journey sparked a desire to uplift those around me and cultivate a deeper sense of connection and well-being.
It led me to enroll in the Massage Therapy program at Durham Tech in 2021. With a small class of around ten students, the experience felt personal and intimate, fostering a supportive educational environment that encouraged growth and collaboration. I found myself particularly drawn to the kinesiology material, where my passion for sports and athletics finally began to pay off in a meaningful way. As I learned about the intricacies of the body, I felt empowered to use this knowledge to help others achieve a greater sense of balance and wellness. I specialize in general relaxation massage, employing techniques such as skin rolling, trigger point therapy, stretching, and myofascial contact. Each session is guided by an intuitive and informed approach, ensuring a deeply restorative experience for my clients
Similar to Deep Tissue Massage that reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to release restrictions particularly in connective tissue throughout the body. This massage is beneficial for chronic pain and tension, creating more mobility due to postural issues and athletes who have sore or restricted muscles looking to increase performance or prevent injury..
